
Grow Two Inches is a blog that promotes better posture though home office ergonomics. For people who work from home or spend too much time at their desk, and feel like their back is hunched over more than it should.
Turns out the right desk setup can help fix my posture. I got two inches back. Literally.
It required more effort than just getting the right desk though. I had to go through the struggle of a heathy lifestyle transformation. The right desk is just one of the tools, and a good attitude is another, but there is so much more.
Anyways, I wanted to share my experiences and knowledge to help others take a stand for better posture.
I have no medical degrees. No corporate sponsors. Just honest advice, occasional dad jokes, and a desire for self improvement.
I was 5'11" in high school and by my mid-thirties I was measuring at 5'9". I thought “How could that be?”.
Turns out, years of hunching over a bad desk setup had quietly compressed my spine.
So I got a standing desk. Went through some character building. And after eighteen months I'm back to 5'11".
My wife can wear heels again. Everyone wins.
